Carmen leads VLRM Markets and is deeply connected in the region’s business community and official circles. A lawyer with over a decade in financial services and regulated markets, she’s worked on both sides of El Salvador’s regulatory landscape: at the Superintendencia del Sistema Financiero, the country’s principal financial regulator, and at the Comisión Nacional de Activos Digitales, which governs digital assets. Carmen also acts as a relationship manager for the OTC desk.
Henry is a financial markets compliance specialist with more than 17 years in financial analysis, anti-money laundering, risk management, and international regulatory standards and supervision. Like Carmen, he served at both the Superintendency of the Financial System and the Comisión Nacional de Activos Digitales.
Harold is a compliance expert with over sixteen years’ experience in the financial and commercial sectors. He specialises in the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing, with a focus on the design and strengthening of risk-based internal control systems. He holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Law and is committed to the implementation of regulatory standards and best practices in the field of compliance.
Mark advises on RWA strategy, digital asset markets and commercial development. He spent over 20 years in institutional capital markets, at Credit Suisse/UBS, HSBC, Citadel, and others, specialising in OTC derivatives, collateral and structured products, and leading regulatory change programmes including EMIR and SFTR, and SEC and CFTC reporting. He’s been active in digital assets since 2014, and served as Chief Executive of the Gibraltar Stock Exchange’s blockchain division. He is a contributor to ERC-7943 and acts as a relationship manager for the VLRM Markets OTC desk.
